His work is based on intense knowledge of neuroscientific research and a comprehensive set of psychological and management skills. He is the co-author of the award-winning book "The Leading Brain" (Penguin Random House, New York 2017) explaining how neuroscience can foster highest performance for individuals, teams, and organizations. The book was voted one of the three best business books in the U.S. in 2017, turned into a global bestseller and has been translated into seven languages.
Hans is an analytical and holistic thinker with extensive experience in individual and organizational psychology. Hans holds an MSc and a PhD in Organizational Psychology from the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich. During his studies, he was supported by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. Since 2010, he has been supporting the foundation as a selector for new scholarship holders in student and graduate funding.
Prior to founding the Munich Leadership Group in 2008, he held positions in management consultancies, as well as in marketing with Procter & Gamble and Lintas Advertising Agency. In 2011, Hans founded the Munich Leadership Group USA LLC based in Palo Alto, CA, to foster MLG's activities on the U.S. market. He lived with his family in the greater Los Angeles area in 2009 and 2012.
