His perspective is shaped by an unusual combination of experiences: 12 years as an officer in the German Armed Forces, including international assignments across central and northern Europe, Afghanistan, and the Baltics. Holding leadership roles in Public Affairs, and as a lecturer and company commander at the Officers Academy, he developed a deep understanding of decision-making under pressure, team cohesion, leadership identity, and the development of people who need to take responsibility early.
Klaus helps leaders and leadership teams perform when the stakes are high: in transformation, conflict, fast growth, strategic uncertainty, and moments where leadership has to create clarity rather than simply manage complexity.
He holds a double degree in International Management from Hochschule München, Tampere University of Applied Sciences, and St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University, with majors in Change Management and Entrepreneurship. A professionally educated trainer and certified coach at the renowned Coaches Training Institute, he is moreover certified in several leadership, personality, and assessment-based development approaches.
Since joining Munich Leadership Group in 2015, Klaus has worked with executives, high potentials, founders, startups, scaleups, and leadership teams across established organizations and entrepreneurial environments. His work ranges from leadership-development programs, executive coaching, and strategic sparring to conflict mediation, transformation facilitation, and the acceleration of founder and management teams.
